A warm layer at the biathlon venue
Grimsbu provides a thick wool layer while giving instructions, waiting between starts or supporting athletes beside the course. The wool fabric is not windproof; add a shell layer when needed.
Raglan sleeves, shaped shoulders, an extended back, a high collar lined with soft knitted merino wool and long sleeves with thumbholes provide its fit. Zipped chest and side pockets hold small accessories.
Unisex, sizes 2XS–2XL. Weight: 760 g in 2XS to 1,150 g in 2XL.
A warming wool layer
Wool insulates and can absorb moisture. Adapt your clothing to the activity and weather, adding a windproof outer layer when needed.
Washing and caring for wool products
One major advantage of wool is that it is largely self-cleaning, but there are a few points to keep in mind when washing and caring for it.
- Shake the product and air it outdoors in fresh air for a couple of hours. Dirt usually stays on the surface rather than penetrating the wool fibres.
- When washing is needed, Canelana recommends machine washing on a wool cycle at 30°C with a dedicated wool detergent.
- Wash wool products separately for the best results.
- Preferably avoid hand washing, as it can be harder to control the temperature and rinse out detergent and dirt than with machine washing.
- Spin drying helps the wool fabric dry more quickly and creates less favourable conditions for bacterial growth.

How to choose your size
Circumference is the jacket's width measured flat from seam to seam, multiplied by two. The jacket has an extended back and is therefore longer at the back than at the front.
Tip: Lay a jacket whose fit you like flat and measure it in the same way. Measure the width from seam to seam and multiply it by two to obtain the circumference, then compare with the table.
