Details and use
FRIDA is a long, shaped women's design with generous room over the hips. Warm and practical, it has a coat-inspired silhouette with a defined waist.
The cuffs have a close-fitting, flexible rib-knit finish around the wrist. This helps retain warmth and makes it easy to wear gloves or mittens over them.
The side pockets are well positioned and generously sized. The high collar is warm when fastened and lies neatly when the jacket is open.
Please note: women's sizing with a close-fitting silhouette. The jacket insulates very well even though the fabric is not windproof.

Shaped women's design in women's sizes. All measurements are garment measurements in cm. Chest, waist and hips are given as circumferences, meaning the full measurement around the garment. Variations of ± 2 cm may occur. On mobile devices, scroll the table sideways.

How to choose your size
Chest, waist and hips are given as circumferences around the entire jacket. FRIDA is a women's design with a shaped waist, so the waist measurement is smaller than the hip measurement.
Tip: Lay a jacket whose fit you like flat and measure it in the same way. Measure the width from seam to seam and multiply it by two to obtain the circumference, then compare with the table.
A warming wool layer
Wool insulates and can absorb moisture. Adapt your clothing to the activity and weather, adding a windproof outer layer when needed.
Washing and caring for wool products
One major advantage of wool is that it is largely self-cleaning, but there are a few points to keep in mind when washing and caring for it.
- Shake the product and air it outdoors in fresh air for a couple of hours. Dirt usually stays on the surface rather than penetrating the wool fibres.
- When washing is needed, Canelana recommends machine washing on a wool cycle at 30°C with a dedicated wool detergent.
- Wash wool products separately for the best results.
- Preferably avoid hand washing, as it can be harder to control the temperature and rinse out detergent and dirt than with machine washing.
- Spin drying helps the wool fabric dry more quickly and creates less favourable conditions for bacterial growth.
